Autumn in Berkeley
It's almost always a beautiful time of year where I live. We're lucky that way, so long as you can live with the occasional earthquake.
Walking around town this weekend, I was struck by two things.
First, the maples have gone flaming red.
Second, the prickly pear cacti are blooming.
Odd, isn't it?
